Our journey began during the challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic when rural communities across India were grappling with unprecedented health and economic hardships. Faced with these urgent and pressing issues, we, a group of researchers, students, and professionals, came together with a shared commitment to make a difference.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed and exacerbated the vulnerabilities faced by rural communities, from limited access to healthcare to economic instability. Witnessing these struggles firsthand, we knew that action was not only necessary but also urgent. It was during this time of crisis that we decided to dedicate ourselves to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by rural India.

Since those early days, our organization has grown and evolved. With members spread across 20 states, we have expanded our reach and deepened our impact. However, our core mission remains unchanged: to work tirelessly toward improving the lives of rural communities.
